Sprint to Offer Unlimited Data on iPhone 5

The Wall Street Journal had already told us that Sprint will have the iPhone 5 some weeks ago. Now Bloomberg has added on to this rumor, and said that Sprint will be offering an unlimited data plan on the iPhone 5 on their network in mid-October.

Rumors on the Sprint iPhone 5 keep spreading like crazy. Just last week some “source” tipped off This is my next, and said Best Buy will have an “Apple Fixture” on Friday, October 21 2011. This is how Best Buy did it during the iPhone 4 launch as well, so that “Apple Fixture” could mean that the Sprint iPhone 5 release date will be on that day.

Stay tuned and follow fan our Facebook page to stay up to date.

Apple Seeds OS X Lion 10.7.2 Build 11C48 and iCloud Beta 10 to Developers

Apple today pushed out new test builds of OS X 10.7.2 and iCloud for OS X developers, continuing to quickly move forward with testing of iCloud. As with the previous interval, the updates come exactly one week after the previous seeds.

Unlike last week's release, there is no new beta of iPhoto 9.2 in today's set of seeds. There also appear to be no new developer releases on the iOS side, with Apple having released the seventh beta of iOS 5 just two days ago.

We've yet to hear about any specific changes in the latest seeds, but Apple has been asking developer to target AirPort, AppKit, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, Mac App Store, Mail, Spotlight, and Time Machine with the last several builds of OS X 10.7.2.

Apple has announced that it will be launching iOS 5 and iCloud this fall, and the company has been rumored to be launching new iPhone hardware in early-to-mid October, with iOS 5 and iCloud should be going live right around that same time. Apple earlier this week began developer testing on iTunes Match, a paid service that stores all of a user's music in the cloud for access from any Internet-connected iOS device or computer.

Apple Is Scouting London’s Financial District

A proposed demolition and new 10-story office building in the financial district of London (UK) has attracted the attention of Apple’s retail team, who might want to lease the entire 13,000 square-feet of ground-floor retail space when the building is finished. A source told the Reuters news service that Apple has talked to the developer of 100 Cheapside about becoming a tenant in the building, which also has about 86,000 square-feet of upper-floor office space. The building is less than two miles from the existing Covent Garden store and would be the third in city center. However, the project is currently in limbo on two fronts—first, the land is owned by the city of London, which is still looking for a buyer after one bidder dropper out. Second, plans for the building are being challenged by 13 neighbors, who say they were not consulted about the proposed building’s height and bulk, and how it will block their sunlight. The neighbors’ challenge is part of a nationwide effort to set a legal precedent on whether neighbors to a proposed project have a right in law to sunlight, or whether planning officials can approve buildings that reduce sight-lines to the sun. Because of these uncertainties, it’s not clear when the building will be finished or when the store might open. You can view a list the application documents submitted by the developer to the city of London planning agency, or download (pdf) the individual building elevation, floor plan or project summary (which uses photos of Apple stores as an example retailer).

This rendering by the firm Michael Aukett Architects shows the final proposed design for the building, including the retail space on the ground floor with large windows.

IOS changelog 5 beta 7

Here are some of IOS changelog 5 beta 7 found so far:
- Bug fixes and general improvements in performance
- Automatic downloading of music with an American account
- Small update the iPod but causes a bug when updating via OTA, should remove the music and resync

Notice that this beta will expire on October 20, so it is very likely that iPhone OS 5 will be released around this time!
